Dermalogica Professional Shave Oil

Being the only male employee at Beautyriche.com, I tend to miss out on alot of neat stuff. There tends to be all sorts of samples and gifts that float around the office at any givien time, as well as tons of new products to try. But although products from Jane Iredale, GloMinerals and Revitalsh might be all the rage right now, they aren’t the most masculine of products.
Fortunately for me, I’ve stumbled upon some real gems for men. My favorite: the Professional Shave Oil by Dermalogica.
Until recently I thought that my shaving options were limited to shave cream, gel, electric razors or combinations/ variations of these, so when I saw shave “oil” I was a little skeptical. But this stuff is great.
Basically, it’s a thick, viscous substance that you apply by shaking into your hand ( 4 or 5 drops ) and rub into your whiskers. Anyone who has used products like ‘Lectra shave will have some idea of what it’s like although this is much cooler. Even though I have a thick beard, the razor just glides over my face when I shave. Also, a big plus is that if you wear facial hair, you can easily see what not to shave.
There’s really no odor to speak of, added or otherwise and I like that.
Some words of advice though:
If you’re a “sink shaver” rinse the sink thoroughly after use, it may leave a film!
One more thing….this is not just for men, I think that the ladies might like this for legs, etc.

Oh, My husband loves this product!! It is a little bottle, lasts a long time and is very easy to travel with.
