Mother’s Day Ideas

Gosh, Mothers have changed so much in the past 50 years. I remember women my mother’s age in the 60’s seemed ancient. Now my mother is in her 70’s and I see her as a hip, vibrant, C’est la Vie kind of lady.
Some of my friends have used words like Rock Star, Starlet, Diva and Wild Thing to describe their mothers. All our mothers seem to be so young. We often feel as though we are passing them by. We get older and they don’t.
It gives me hope that in 20 years I might look that great!
Mother’s Day is a great time to thank them for all they do for us and for passing on the great genes. Skin care products and makeup are some things most women love and would be a great Mother’s Day Idea for a gift.
Why not pick out a great pink lipstick ( I love Jane Iredale Pure Moist Lip Colour in Renee because it looks great on everyone) and a nice candle?
Then pack a picnic lunch along with sunscreen, sunhat and sunglasses. Take mom to a nice quiet place to celebrate your love and friendship and thank her for all she does.
That is a great Mother’s Day Idea! You know what she wants … to spend time with you, feel young and laugh!
