Face and Body Bronzers

By Rhonda | May 10, 2007

Get ready for summer with a healthy looking “tan” without going into the sun. Bronzers contain ingredients that help your skin look “sun-kissed”. Some even add a shimmer with gold flakes for an extra healthy glow.

GloMinerals Body Bronzer

When applying a bronzer to the face, apply to areas that are naturally hit by the sun: cheekbones, nose, chin, forehead, and collarbones. Then be sure to blend well and up into the hair line and just below the jaw bone to avoid that “mask” look.

For an all over subtle tan use GloMinerals Body Bronzer. It looks incredibly natural while adding a hint of shimmer from light-reflecting particles.

Jane Iredale Bronzer- Moonglow

Jane Iredale Brush Me Bronze contains a unique self-contained brush that makes it easier to apply this bronzer with flecks of gold evenly.

Three face powder bronzers from Jane Iredale are available for both men and women.
Jane Iredale So-Bronze is
mineral-based two-toned powder bronzer for the face. Jane Iredale Bronzer- Moonglow has four shades of copper-tone and golden bronze with 24-Karat gold flakes. And for men, Jane Iredale H\E Bronzer for Men SPF 18 lets them look tan plus contains sun protection.

Remember that because bronzers don’t protect against UVA/UVB which can cause photo-aging and skin cancer, you should wear sunscreen with at least 15 SPF (preferably more).
