Obagi Exfoderm and Exfoderm Forte

This is the fourth of a six-part series on Obagi Nu-Derm.
If you are using the Obagi Nu-Derm system it is important to add one of the #4 products to your regimen.
Exfoderm or Exfoderm Forte will help with the itchy, flaking skin that happens early in the Obagi Nu-Derm treatment.
Exfoderm helps smooth the skin and will allow for easier makeup application while your skin is going through the “Out with the Old” phase. This is early in your treatment when you might experience some redness, itchiness and flakiness. A little dab of Obagi - Step 4 - Exfoderm (for normal skin) or Obagi - Step 4 - Exfoderm Forte (for oily, thick skin) will help increase the cell turn-over.
The active ingredient in Exfoderm is 3% Phytic acid (exfoliates dead surface skin cells). You will have the benefits of 6% Glycolic Acid (stimulates collagen and elastin) and 4% Lactic acid (help remove undesirable signs of skin aging) in Exfoderm Forte.
